Join the SeekersGuidance Helpers Program – an Outreach and Editorial Internship

The SeekersGuidance Helpers program is a six-month internship in key areas of SeekersGuidance’s work as an online seminary and educational portal.

Benefits – The SeekersGuidance Helpers program provides:

1. an excellent opportunity to assist in spreading beneficial knowledge and guidance through working in a professional environment that is spiritually invigorating;
2. gain invaluable professional training and acquire key personal, managerial, and area-specific skills through working with experienced leaders and managers in a growing non-profit;
3. included in the internship program is a monthly spiritual mentorship session with Shaykh Faraz Rabbani;
4. upon successful completion of the six-month internship program you’ll receive a SeekersGuidance certificate and a letter of recommendation.

Expectations:

1.  Helpers commit to at least 10 hours a week of internship work and training, with consistency;
2. uphold recognised Islamic ethos of respect, responsiveness, consultation, and collaboration;
3. be keen to contribute and learn.

Interns required in the Outreach Department:

1. Newsletter copywriter
2. Facebook advertising
3. Graphic designer
4. Visual effects and animation
5. Social media engagement

Interns required in the Online Services Department:

1. Blog copywriter
2. Copy editor
3. Editorial assistant
4. Junior translator (between Arabic and English)
5. Researcher

If you are based in Toronto, Canada, you have the choice of completing your internship at the Toronto Hub. If you are based anywhere else in the world, your internship will be strictly online.
