Question: Assalam aleykum,

Is it mandatory for hijab to cover a woman’s chest? Is clothing that is not tight sufficient in covering this area?

Hijab

Please refer to this excellent article: What Are the Requirements of Hijab?

In short, for your hijab to be complete, then you must cover your chest.

May Allah facilitate your steps towards Him, and help you perfect your outward and inward acts of worship.
