03 – Mus’ab ibn Umair – First Ambassador to Islam

In this  episode of “Simply The Best”, Shaykh Sadullah Khan covers the story of Mus’ab ibn Umair who was known as the first ambassador to Islam. Was known to be very handsome and well dressed. He came from a wealthy family. His mother became very angry with Mus’ab entering into Islam. So much so she imprisoned him. Mus’ab was able to escape the clutches of his mother and migrate with the other Muslims to Abyssinia. Mus’ab had a keen mind, he was eloquent in his speech and upheld beautiful character. Because of this, Mus’ab was sent to Medina ahead of the Prophet’s (peace and blessing be upon him) migration to teach and speak to others about Islam.

This podcast presents the series “Noble Ones Around The Chosen One”, by Shaykh Sadullah Khan, originally delivered at Masjid al-Furqan, Islamia College, in Cape Town, South Africa (https://www.islamiacollege.co.za/).
