17 – Lives of the Companions (Part 3) – The Life of Khadija al-Kubra – Shaykh Abdurragmaan Khan

Lady Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was of the greatest women to live. She was known to be the most noble, beautiful and wealthy of women in Quraysh. Shaykh Abdurragmaan Khan looks at her status among the Quraysh tribe of Mecca. He tells the story how she ran a business and her marriage to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Lady Khadija displayed very high qualities. She never angered the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). She was a source of strength to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). She spent all her wealth in the way of Islam. Lady Khadija is a role model to both males and females.
